In 2011 Doug and Ronda Bauknight became new Independent Representatives for what was then Books Are Fun. Initially the territory consisted of 12 Counties in Northeast Georgia. They have serviced approximately 270 schools in Northeast Georgia since 2011. Now, this veteran team expands for the 2017-2018 school year, practically doubling in size.
In their seventh season, this veteran team expands with Collective Goods. Now servicing 28 counties in Northeast Georgia, totaling more than 600 accounts.
In the last six years this husband and wife team have won Regional Representative of the Year. (Then, Books Are Fun.) Most recently they were Triple Crown Award winners – exceeding benchmarks set by Collective Goods
The additional territory opened up with a transfer by another Independent Representative to an open territory in Jacksonville Florida. When asked, “Team Bauknight” thought it only made sense to absorb the remaining territory which intertwined with their existing counties. It was a win – win for both Independent Representatives and Collective Goods.
This new, expanded territory brings changes, gearing up for the their larger roll. For example, new and larger warehousing was secured. In addition, more staff is required and vehicles to move products to the Pop Up Flash Sales. All appeared to fall into place at just the right time over the summer. By the time their Cycle 1 product arrived, (and entire truck load consisting of 18 pallets of product) this team was ready.
In all “Team Bauknight” will double their Pop Up Flash Sales each week, averaging at or around 90 events per week.
Most exciting for this husband and wife team is the ability to help more schools. Philanthropy is a core value for the couple and Collective Goods at large.
